Enjoy this long tour that will take 8 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech to discover many beautiful places. Our trips will start from Fes towards the Sahara desert in southern Morocco and will end in the red city in Morocco, which is Marrakech. Visit Fez, it is a charming city for its visitors, as it is an ancient city surrounded by hills and forests, which made it one of the most beautiful places in the region there, and it enjoys the original Moroccan architecture. In addition to its tiny alleys, the city is distinguished for mosaic art and arched gateways. Itinerary 8 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes - Pick up at the airport transfer to the hotel / Riad

Pick up from Fes Sais Airport and follow the arrival time. And then transfer to your hotel or riad in the heart of Fez’s Medina. Depending on the time of arrival, there is a potential of making initial contact with a visit to Fez’s Medina. Dinner and lodging in the hotel/riad.

Day 2: Fes - World heritage site - (Day to know Fez)

A whole day spent exploring the kingdom’s most scholarly metropolis. There are several monuments to visit: Medersas (Koranic Schools): Chahrij and Bouinania Attarin. Souks, Fes El-Jedid, Karaouine Mosque (the world’s first university).

Day 3: Fes - Medilt - Azrou - The Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we depart Fez for the middle Atlas, passing via Ifrane before arriving at the Azrou woods, which are home to wild monkeys. It will be an excellent opportunity to get photographs of Moroccan nature. We’ll eat lunch in the Berber settlement of Zaida. We will continue across the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the Medilt environment, until we arrive in the little town of Rich, Erfoud, where we will experience the Saharan air with the Tafilalet oasis. We will proceed to Merzouga after a brief relaxation period. We will ride camels into the desert and spend the night there. We will spend the night in Berber nomad tents.

Day 4: Merzouga - KHamlia - Erg Chebbi Dunes Tour (Night in the tents)

You’re already in the desert. Enjoying the magic of the dunes. In the early morning, while the heat is still low. We will take a 4 x 4 to explore the desert plains, including the flamingo-filled Lake Dayet Srij, and visit a family of Gnaouas or Bambara musicians, descendants of slaves from Black Africa, who will entertain us with traditional music. We will visit the dunes near the historic “Paris-Dakar” route and meet nomadic communities living in the sand and stone.

An honest, memorable adventure!! We return to the hotel and leave the 4×4 vehicle there. In the afternoon, we will ride dromedaries into the center of the desert to see a spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in a nomadic tent deep in the “Erg Chebbi” dunes of Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud Fossils - Gorges of Todra-Dades Valley

We will rise early to see the stunning dawn, and after breakfast, we will return to Merzouga by camel before departing for Rissani. We will visit the largest market in the area before continuing to Erfoud, where you can see the marble and fossil factories. We pass via Touroug and Tinijda’s palm groves to reach the Gorges of Todra, a river bed with vertical-wall gorges that are popular among climbers. We will have lunch there and wander around the gorges before continuing to Valley Dades for supper and the night at the hotel.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - SKoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

We will enjoy the greatest views of the Dades Valley and visit a huge number of tourist-friendly Kasbahs. Later, we traveled through the Valley of the Roses and the vast palm grove of Skora before arriving in Quarzazate to visit the Kasbah de Taourit, the former home of the Pacha Glaoui. Then we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou to see the famed Kasbah, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. Several films have been shot such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Obelix, The Jewel of the Nile. After lunch, we’ll drive to Marrakech, passing via the Tizi Ntichka mountain range and stopping to take photos. Arrive in Marrakech at 6:00 p.m., transport to the hotel.

Day 7: Marakech - Essaouira - back to Marakech

We will see some of La Menara’s monuments before continuing on to the west coast to explore the historic Portuguese port of Mogador, a tiny coastal fishing town that has preserved its walls that functioned as a barrier against invasions by invaders from the sea. The city’s environment makes it always windy, which attracts surfers. We’ll wander through its streets, which are filled with handmade items and spices. The city is famous for its Gnawa spiritual music festival, where you may sample the seafood produced at its modest stops. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Marrakech - Airport

After breakfast, travel to the Marrakech Menara Airport at the agreed-upon hour, marking the conclusion of the 8-day Fes to Marrakech tour.
